A sorozatot egy közelmúltbeli halottak napi látogatás élménye hívta életre. Ahogy a mondás is tartja; az idő szalad - ez történik tulajdonképpen a három képen is, ám a sorozathoz kapcsolódó temetői fotó kissé más megvilágításba helyezi a fogalmat. Az egyszerre morbid és roppant praktikus szokás, amikor még élő emberek neveit vésik sírkőbe, az intarziákon rideg, ugyanakkor otthonos, megszokott valósággá válik, ahogy a folyamatosan ketyegő kis órák kíméletlenül arra a tényre irányítják figyelmünket, hogy az idő megy.

A recent family visit on All Souls’ Day was the specific event that evoked the series. Clock is ticking, as the saying goes, which is the exact happening of the three pieces. But the attached photograph, taken at the cemetery, gives a different way of interpreting. The morbid habit of practicality, of putting living people’s name on gravestones, is turned into rigid, but at the same time cosy reality, as the continuously working little clocks draw our attention to the inescapable fact, that time is passing.
